 Day 3-5 Daughters of St Paul Provincial Chapter 2025 News Flash 2 After entering into Recollection on Day 2, the Chapter delegates began with the Rosary, followed by the online talk by Fr Jose Pottayil SSP, who is presently based in Spain. He invited us to reflect on our identity as a Pauline and cautioned us that many of us hold Blessed James Alberione as an object of devotion but he has left us a legacy. He challenged us to be concerned about the absence of the Good News among people we have not yet reached. We need to carry out our mission, never as an individual but as a communitarian enterprise. We pondered on these among other inspirational thoughts from him, and later came as an assembly to share what had inspired us. Day 3 also continued in recollection, by Fr Devasia Puthiyaparampil SSP, who gave us 3 talks through day, explaining the Chapter theme from the angle of Pauline charism, that is to Jesus the Truth, Way and Life. Day 1-2  Daughters of St Paul Provincial Chapter  Our provincial chapter in preparation for the 12 th General Chapter began on 5 th January, 2025 with the Inaugural Liturgy beginning with a solemn Morning Prayer, conducted by Srs Rosely and Stevena, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration. Sr Matilda D’Souza , our Provinicial, was invited to light the Easter Candle, which will remain lit through the days of Chapter. Then The Chapter delegates, carried lighted diy as, to the altar, symbolic of their commitment to the chapter. During the Eucharist, the entrance procession consisted of the Chapter Delegates carrying a copy of the Gospel and keeping it at the altar. During the offertory, Sr Matilda carried the Chapter Logo symbol of the unity vision and hopes of our Chapter, along with other symbolic gifts.   It reminded us of the Spirit’s fire that impels us forward, the listening heart that attends to humankind’s needs and the commitment to communicate the Gospel of Hope....
